I specialize in psychological testing for children, teens, and young adults. In particular, I specialize in evaluating for neurodivergence. I believe assessment is a collaborative process between myself and the families I work with. I will work with you to identify your questions and concerns. Once I understand your needs, I will design a personalized testing plan, which will allow me to obtain the information needed to answer your questions. When the assessment is complete, you will receive a psychological report which will include information about your child’s (or your) functioning. This report will include test results, diagnosis, areas of strength, areas for growth, and treatment recommendations. I believe it is essential for your child, no matter their age, to participate in the testing process from identifying their own questions about themselves to receiving developmentally appropriate information about their testing results. I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY31800) and specialize in psychological testing for children, teens, and young adults. I completed my undergraduate degree from Sonoma State University in Psychology and earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology, with a child/family focus, from the APA-Accredited California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, San Francisco. I have worked in a variety of settings throughout my career including, outpatient clinics, schools, private practice, in-home services, and residential facilities. I have worked in schools throughout the bay area from preschool through high school, where I gained experience working within the school system to provide consultation, intervention, and psychological testing to support students and their families. I work closely with Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services, a residential substance use program that serves adolescents with substance use challenges and other co-occurring mental health problems to provide comprehensive psychological assessment to their residents. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and conduct assessments from a trauma-informed lens. Additionally, my training in evidenced-based family therapy allows me to approach each assessment with the whole family in mind.
